When I saw flood in patna, I thought to help them. I have so many reason to help them. I took my team and went to Patna from Delhi. I arranged dry foods and packed water bottles and reached ground zero (Rajinder Nagar-Patna). When me and my team reached, we saw many college volunteers, who were trying to help residents. Water level was like 4 to 5 feet from ground. Residents were stuck in their homes and was not able to come out to buy their basic requirements. I saw 2 team of NDRF as well but they had only 3 boats which was not sufficient to cover entire flooded area. We got boat for one hour and we distributed food and water but not able to cover entire area. Then with the help of local volunteer, we got into water and start distributing. We saw dead animals body floating around and sewage water also mixed with flood water. Situation was really not good.
After two days we realise, many volunteers were there to help those residents, it was a well known colony and then i received a call from some volunteer that more than fifty person who have lost their home because of flood or any reason, they are in real need of supplies and no one was there to provide supplies. Me and My team went there and found many people and distributed dry milk, napkins, food and water.
In return we received enough blessings from them and we tried our best to bring back smiles on their faces.
